Top Tips for Building a Champagne Tower
1. Choose a Level Surface: Ensure the tray & base is perfectly flat and sturdy to prevent tipping.
2. Use Identical Coup Glasses: All glasses should be the same size and shape for stability and even stacking.
3. Start from the Bottom: Build the largest layer first, placing glasses close together so rims touch.
4. Align Carefully: Each glass on upper layers should sit directly in the “valleys” between four glasses below.
5. Work Slowly: Stack each layer gently to avoid knocking the tower.
6. Pour Slowly from the Top: When filling, pour champagne gently into the very top glass and let it cascade down. For larger towers we recommend you pre fill the bottom row of glasses.
7. Have Extras on Hand: Keep a few spare glasses nearby in case of breakages.
8. Safety First: Rope off the area or place a sign to prevent guests from bumping the tower. Please see our Gold Heavy Duty Stanchions/Bollard x4 listed separately
9. Always use a Tray: Place a tray underneath to catch spills and make clean-up easier.
10. Photograph Before Pouring: Capture the tower at its best before serving!
